Who's behind this initiative?
We're Gemography, a small team of current and former CTOs, based in North Africa. We're building a talent community to help software engineers from emerging countries (like ours) to unlock great career opportunities.
What's in it for Gemography?
Gemography connects developers from emerging countries with great career opportunities.

But although ambitious, we're still a small team, and so we may not always be able to onboard companies as quickly as we would like to serve all of our developers, but our priority is finding homes for these talented individuals.

We're passionate about making connections and contributing to the growth of the local tech communities, regardless of whether we receive any direct benefits from it.
What countries are the candidates from?
Candidates you'll receive are from Africa and LATAM, including Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Morocco, and Tunisia. We strive to offer a diverse and global talent pool, continuously expanding our reach to new regions and countries.
Do I have to hire the candidate through Gemography?
Not really, although it is an option.
You're free to engage with candidates that you recieve via the Talent Letter directly and agree on a mutually beneficial arrangement. When we say "no fees or strings attached", we really mean it.
Are the candidates open for job opportunities?
Most definitely, if you receive a new candidate from us, not only they are open to new job opportunities. They are willing to take interviews right away.

Please note that some candidates from previous editions of the Talent Letter may no longer be open to new job opportunities. However, don't hesitate to reach out to us, and we will gladly assist.
