Fraudulent Job Offers Impersonating Gemography

We have identified a series of fraudulent job offers circulating in Gemography's name. These scam attempts are targeting job seekers across multiple U.S. states. Please be aware of the following characteristics:

  • The messages are sent via SMS or WhatsApp
  • They often come from someone claiming to be "Lucy from Gemography"
  • They offer remote or part-time work opportunities
  • They attempt to move communication to WhatsApp for further discussion

These messages are NOT from Gemography. Please do not respond to them or click on any links they may contain.

For your safety, please note that Gemography:

  1. Only posts job openings on our official website and LinkedIn page
  2. Never initiates job offers through unsolicited SMS or WhatsApp messages
  3. Never requests personal financial information or payments from applicants
  4. Does not share any candidate’s personal information without the candidate's explicit consent

Immediate Actions to Take

If you have received such a message:

  1. Do not respond or click on any links
  2. Delete the message immediately
  3. Report the number as fraudulent

If you have inadvertently shared personal information:

  1. Change your passwords for any accounts you may have shared
  2. Monitor your financial accounts and credit reports for suspicious activity
  3. We strongly recommend activating two-factor authentication (2FA) on all your important accounts for added security.
